Category and way of action: Systemic fungicide with protective action.

Propamocarb hydrochloride shows little systemic activity and its action seems to affect the formation of cell membranes thereby inhibiting mycelial growth as well as the production and germination of downy mildew spores.

Fosetyl-Al shows synthetic and aplastic movement and acts by inhibiting the germination of spores but also by inducing plant defense mechanisms.
